Montebruna is a Barbera d’Asti DOCG made from 100% estate-grown grapes in Rocchetta Tanaro.

In the Cellar

Fermentation takes place for two weeks in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature; then the wine ages for one year in large oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Violaceous ruby red color. It strikes with very clear aromas of ripe cherry and small red fruits. The taste on the palate is deep, full, harmonious, with a long finish that maintains the gustatory persistence and ends with almond. Excellent, balanced, fragrant, with great drinkability. Pairs well with pasta dishes, white or red meat main courses, cheeses, and cured meats.

Serving

Serve at 15-17°C.
