LIVIO FELLUGA VERTIGO 2022 CL 75
Vertigo tells the richness of Friuli Venezia Giulia thanks to the encounter between the territory's vocation and the uniqueness of our style. Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso provide structure, depth, and personality, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc contribute elegance and sophisticated aromatic nuances. The diversity of Friulian tradition is revealed through the distinctive light of our identity.
The grapes, delicately destemmed, are then pressed. This is followed by fermentation with maceration of the skins at controlled temperature, in stainless steel tanks. Maturation takes place in stainless steel and small French oak barrels. Once bottled, the wine rests in air-conditioned rooms for aging.
Tasting Notes
Cherry red. The nose is intensely aromatic: freshly picked blueberry and wild strawberry integrate with delicate hints of green tea, while a subtle flint minerality gradually emerges, enriching a lively and elegant bouquet. In the mouth, it is velvety and soft, with a silky and pleasant flow. Rosehip and wild berries broaden the profile, for a smooth finish that enhances the structure.
